In the book of James, it is written in James 1:v5,
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
The wisdom that James is referring to in this passage isn’t the accumulation of empirical data to draw some conclusion based on our own human intelligence. It is a wisdom that is rooted in the mind of God and available only through His Spirit and conveyed by His truth- His word. And intellectually knowing the word of God alone isn’t sufficient if the reader/receiver isn’t transformed by it.
