The assault on the authority and reliability of the word of God is at an all time high. It’s imperative as believers that we invest quality time in understanding why the Holy Scriptures came directly from the mind of God and can be trusted. One of the things that I’ve observed as I read through the Scriptures is that The New Testament is a thorough exposition of the Old Testament. The apostles basically revealed through their writings what most of the Scriptures of the Old Testament were intended for – the Biblical prophecies found a lot of their fulfillment in the New Testament, thus giving us robust internal evidence about the authenticity and reliability of the word of God. In the presentation below Dr. John MacArthur will be giving us an objective defense for the reliability and authority of the word of God.
