A lot of people wonder why believers in Christ are so adamant about defending the rights of the unborn babies. I’ve had several conversations with friends and family members who always claim that it is a woman’s right to have an abortion. Recently I was talking to my father, a retired pediatrician who made the same assertion. He told me that a woman had the right to have an abortion at any given time during her pregnancy. Then I asked him the following question: “What about the fetus or the child, where is his/her right? And he said the following:” they don’t have any because they weren’t responsible for their own conception”. You can see clearly the flaw in his argument. He basically gave an arbitrary right to the woman and disregarded the unborn child’s right. The people that espouse this kind of statement tend to forget that they themselves are alive because their parents didn’t abort them. You see I can go on and on about defending the rights of the unborn child and those who oppose this can also defend the rights of the women and we will never come to an agreement until we have a standard for what is right. As long as we don’t believe in an absolute, everything is permissible but fortunately there is an absolute, and we must abide by the absolute. So today I’m going to show you why believers in Christ defend the rights of the unborn babies, see video below

My name is Tayib Salami and I started Tayibs.com for the sole purpose of exploring difficult questions about the Christian faith that most of us shy away from. In 2017, I entered a very dark time in my life and it’s only by the grace of the Living God that I’m still alive today. It led me to really go deeper in my faith and consider a myriad of questions that I never thought about asking myself or others before. Welcome and enjoy the ride with me.
