ACTS 1:1-4 SECOND ACCOUNT

The Book Of Acts Line By Line E1: Acts 1:1-4 ( A Second Account)| RC Sproul

Spread the love

As you all know, the late Dr. RC Sproul is by far my favorite preacher/ bible teacher and I’ve been listening to his series on the book of acts for quite some time now. I decided to share the entire series on the site and I hope you’ll find it very helpful. We’ll start with Acts 1:1-4.

The book of Acts is another reflection of  Luke’s dedication to providing an orderly and well-researched account of the life and mission of Christ, as well as the spread of the Gospel through His apostles. Addressed to Theophilus, whose name means “lover of God” or “loved by God,” Acts sets the stage as not only a defense of the Christian faith but also a vivid demonstration of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. With careful precision, Luke captures the obedience of the early church to Christ’s command, guiding readers through events that bear witness to the reality of God’s kingdom and the bold mission of the apostles. These opening verses invite us into a narrative filled with awe-inspiring faith, transformation, and God’s unfolding plan reaching to the ends of the earth.

PS: All the videos series from RC Sproul added to the website have been thoroughly listened to by myself. And I highly recommend them to anyone looking to deepen his/her faith in Christ. We live in the age of relativism and now more than ever understanding what we believe, and why believe what believe is not optional.
