Last month we looked at Elisha’s interaction with a woman who had just lost her husband and was in dire need of financial help. We also know that the story wasn’t just pointing to her financial bankruptcy but also her need for the Savior, you can look at the entire presentation , see link below
The same prophet Elisha went to Shunem where he also interacted with another woman and she on the other hand was wealthy ( rich). She also had the right belief system and she knew that he was prophet and revered him BUT? On the surface, she appeared to have it all together but there were deeper issues in her life that needed to be dealt with and that’s what we are going to be looking at today. I’ve mediated on this passage for several months now and I still think there is a lot more to it than what I’ll present today. I’ll invite you all to go deeper in your studies of Scitptures and ask the Lord to disclose His Truths to you, remember this- the new testament is in the old concealed and the old testament is in the new revealed.
